Check Your Backflow Test Status

Got a letter from your city about a backflow test? You’re not alone — those notices are how local utilities keep drinking water safe.

After a licensed tester finishes the job, the test report has to be filed with your water provider. You can often look that up yourself online. This page points you to the public portals we use most in our service area, with a short how-to for each.

Not sure which system your city uses? Check your notice letter or call us at 512-835-2211.

If you’re staring at a notice and not sure what to do first, start here: Backflow test notice: what to do. Prefer us to handle the test and the filing? Call or text 512-835-2211, or Book Now. We’re a family-owned shop in Cedar Park. Residential & Commercial. A residential backflow test is $100, and city filing is included. More quick answers live on our FAQ.

BSI Online

Who this is for: Customers of City of Round Rock, Leander, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, and Travis County WCID No. 17. If your letter shows a Customer Confirmation Number (CCN) or came from BSI / Backflow Solutions, you’re almost certainly here.

How to check: Open the portal, sign up or sign in, then link your property with the CCN printed on your notice letter. Once linked, open the property and check Devices, Test Reports, and Letters.

If it shows overdue or nothing filed: Call or text 512-835-2211, or Book Now. We’ll test, file through BSI after payment, and include city filing in our $100 residential test.

VEPO / Envirotrax

Who this is for: Some cities, such as Georgetown, use VEPO (Envirotrax). Check your letter or water provider if you’re not sure. The public search below is set to City of Georgetown.

How to check: Enter your street number and the main street name — skip compass prefixes (N, S, East…) and suffixes (St, Dr, Blvd) if the search comes up empty. Results list test and expiration dates when a match is found.

If it shows overdue or nothing filed: Call or text 512-835-2211, or Book Now. We’ll test, submit through the right portal, and include city filing in the residential $100 test.

Austin Water — WEIRS to Klir

Austin customers: heads up. As of Tuesday, November 17, 2026, Austin Water is moving backflow / Water Protection tracking from WEIRS to Klir. After that date, legacy WEIRS is no longer accessible.

How to check right now: If you already have a WEIRS customer ID, try the WEIRS customer login before November 17. After the switch, start from Austin Water’s Cross-Connection / Water Protection page or any Klir link Austin emails you — we’ll update this section when a stable public URL is posted.

If your notice says you’re due: Don’t wait on the portal. Call or text 512-835-2211, or Book Now. We test Residential & Commercial assemblies (we do not test fire sprinkler systems), file with Austin Water’s system, and include city filing in our $100 residential test.
